Councilor for America: ARGELYS DEL ROSARIO VEGA REYES (Panama)

She was born in Panama on September 14, 1979. She joined the Association in January 2000; she was the National President of the Association in her country, volunteer at the International Secretariat, since September 2008, elected as an International Councilor in August 2010. She participated during the II GA in Paris in 2005, and two Encounters of formation in Central America, participated in the WYD 2005 in Cologne. She participated in the different international encounters of the Vincentian Family.

Councilor for Asia: ANH THU NGUYEN THI (Vietnam)

Anh Thu, “Maria” for her baptism, was born on May 1, 1978. She studied Business English and Accounting. She belongs to VMY since 1995. She did her Promise in 2005 and her Consecration to Christ with Mary in 2007. Member of the National Council since 2005, she served as the VMY National President from 2008 to 2009. She is a member of International Secretariat since September 2009.

She participated in the Vincentian Family Encounter and the WYD 2008 in Sydney, in the Encounter of the National Councils of Asia (Manila, Philippines) in 2009 and in the III General Assembly (Lisbon, 2010) where was elected as the VMY International Councilor.

Councilor for Africa: GHISLAIN AUGUSTE ATEMEZING (Cameroon)

Cameroon nationality, Ghislain was born on May 4, 1979. He is 12 years member of the VMY; he co-founded the university group in his country, Secretariat of the first VMY region in the country (3 years), and he was a volunteer of the International Secretariat (2006-2009).

He is technician of informatics and studied Religious Sciences at Faculty of San Dámaso in Madrid. Recently, he is a doctoral candidate in computer technology at the Polytechnic University of Madrid.

Councilor for Europe: KARMEN KUNC (Slovenia)

Karmen was born on October 21, 1987, in Ljubljana. She participated in the II Encounter of Europe in Nitra – 2007 (Slovakia) and in the III General Assembly of VMY in Lisbon – 2010 (Portugal).

She is member of the Association since 2007. She is serving as the National Secretary since 2008 and as the VMY leader in her town (Logatec). In addition, she serves in the local parish as a singer and choir coordinator, where she plays the guitar, makes projects and activities with youth and children. She continues in studying of Theology.
