Pierre-Georges Frassatti (1901 -1925)
The blessed Pierre-Georges Frassatti was born into an anticlerical family of the bourgeoisie of Turin (Italy).
During his studies for a mining engineer, actively participates in Catholic Action and is distinguished in the Society of St. Vincent de Paul for his dedication to the poor and sick. When he was beatified on May 20, 1990, John Paul II called him “the man of the beatitudes.”
