I have perceived in the young a great vitality and they really want to grow deep down. They feel the need of formation. They value so much the richness of the group life and the service to the poor. Among the Advisors; Fathers and Sisters in Cameroon and Sisters in Equatorial Guinea, there is a great worry about forming catechists to join the groups that are bigger and bigger every day. They are young countries with a great spiritual sensibility and they feel the need of God in their lives and all the groups carry out a service to the most needy. They are villages with a great future. The Vincentian Charisma and the VMY can contribute to build an open future of these cultures, cultivating the hope. Fathers and Sisters work to make this charisma as well as the VMY Association stronger. We hope that in the future there will be new initiatives to create new groups and activities. The number of members will surely increase because Africa is a young full of life continent. It is necessary to guarantee, for each group, a good accompaniment from well-formed catechists’ side.
