PRESIDENT:

 Yasmine was born on November 9, 1978 in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Haitian by nationality, she joined the Association in 1995, was the Coordinator of a Center (for three years) and was a member of the National Council for four years until such time that she was chosen to be part of the VMY International Secretariat in October 2003. She also participated in the Encounter in Paris (1997), 1st General Assembly in Rome (2000), IV EMLA in Venezuela (2001) and the European Encounter of the VMY National Councils in Madrid (2003). Yasmine took up BS Education, Literature and French Teaching and a Diploma Course in School Administration. At present, she is taking a Diploma Course in Religious Sciences in Spain. She speaks French, Spanish and English fluently. 

Councilors:

She was born on February 21, 1977 in Quito, Ecuador. She became a member of the Association in November 1995 and was a Representative of the Youth Movement of Ecuador in the National Pastoral Youth Council (2000.) She became the Secretary and VMY National President (1998-2001,) Secretary and Representative of the Bolivarian Countries in the VMY Latin American Council (2001), elected as an International Councilor (2005) and is a Volunteer of the International Secretariat (since 2004). She participated in the Continental Youth Encounter in Chile (1998), 1st General Assembly in Rome (2000), IV EMLA in Venezuela (2001) and the WYD in Toronto (2002). She studied Banking and Finance and is taking a Diploma Course in Religious Sciences in Spain at present. She speaks Spanish and English.

Denise was born in Abey on August 14, 1972. She became a member of VMY Lebanon 15 years ago. A member of the National Council since 1994 and a Coordinator of a Center since 1998, she was elected National President in 2000 for a term of five years. She is a member of the Apostolic Movement within the Episcopal Commission for Lay Apostolate in Lebanon. She participated in the Encounter in Paris (1997), the 1st General Assembly in Rome (2000) and the WYD in Toronto (2002). She is presently working in a Secretarial School and is taking up Religious Sciences. She speaks French, Arabic and English and is studying Spanish as well.

Voahanginirina was born on January 8, 1976 in Manakara. Her life in VMY began in 1992. She participated in the 1st General Assembly in Rome (2000) and was with the VMY National Council of her country for seven years, three of which as National President. She studied International Rights and Commerce. At present she is the coordinator of the FAMVIN Office of her country in Tolagnaro. She speaks French and English. 

Maria Jesus was born on November 28, 1974 and has been a member of the VMY for 21 years. She became a Catechist, President of a Center (six years,) Treasurer (1994) and Provincial President of Gijon (1996-2001). She participated in the Canonization of Perboyre in 1996 and in the Encounter in Paris (1997). She is a teacher and had Music studies. She speaks Spanish and English
