The VMY Thailand formally introduced themselves to the Vincentian Family during the celebration of the 25th year anniversary of the presence of the Congregation of the Mission in their country last September 24-25, 2016 at the Holy Family Parish Phonsung, BanDung, Udon Thani Thailand. The activity which served as a Vincentian Family gathering was attended by the Daughters of Charity, Society of Saint Vincent de Paul, International Association of Charities, Association of the Miraculous Medal, the Congregation of the Mission and for the first time, with the Vincentian Marian Youth.

Sr. Malou Camacho the sister advisor, was joined by the president Sairung and vice-president Sirilak. Father Randy, the Provincial Superior of the Congregation of the Mission in Thailand acknowledged the VMY as the youngest member of the Vincentian family in their country during the celebration.

With the formal presentation done, the VMY group continues to do various activities both for the members and the community. For the month of September, they had video viewing focusing on the life of St. Vincent de Paul as part of the celebration of his feast last September 27. A sports fest was also held organized by the members of VMY, still as part of the celebration of the feast of St. Vincent with more than a hundred of people who joined. Although concerned at first for the financial needs of the said activity, relying on the providence of God, donors of cash, food, prizes and other materials needed were given by compassionate people. Truly a miracle bestowed upon the organization.
